No. Context of the Ekko messages are between the User and their Recipient. Recipients will be notified to agree to receive future Ekkoes from that User upon Ekko creation. Upon User departure, Recipients must agree again and will have options to consider for their mental well being.

  6. NOTE: If STOP (opt-out) is chosen and Ekkoes remain unsent (with or without money), they will be stored for 365 days from the STOP date. To retrieve remaining Ekkoes, contact support@yourekko.com.

If Trusted Contacts can’t be reached, Recipients of messages will be contacted (per Client Services Agreement section 8bii2). Ekkoes with money that Recipients do not claim, and Trusted Contacts can’t be contacted, money will go to the Company charity of choice.
If a phone is lost or needs updating, YourEkko will need Recipients' phone carrier to confirm updates via email to support@yourekko.com. We encourage all Recipients, Trusted Contacts, and Users to add an email address to Ekkoes in case of a phone numbers changing.
700 characters that your Trusted Contact(s) will be emailed upon saving and updating.
One-time Ekkoes allows you to schedule a date and time for delivery after we confirm departure. Use up to 700 characters. Include an optional financial gift between $10-$1000 for your Recipient to claim with their email upon receiving the Ekko. Recurring Ekkoes can be scheduled to be sent every day, one day every week, one day every month, or one day every year - up to 3 years from the date the first Recurring Ekko is sent. Use up to 60 characters. Any Ekko that does not have a time chosen will send around 12pm EST. For examples of Ekkoes, see Ideas.
Contact Us or call 888-704-0665. Once cancellation is confirmed, only any financial gift amounts are returned - all Ekkoes will be deleted.
Without confirmation of User departure from a Trusted Contact, Ekkoes will be paused until the User or Trusted Contact acts from YourEkko outreach.
Ekkoes will be saved up to 365 days. Before 366th day, the Recipient must contact support@yourekko.com. See more in Recipient Terms and Conditions section 8 Grace Period.
Yes - if a Recipient wants to receive Ekkoes with or without money, before the departed’s desired delivery dates, that request will be granted. However, the Recipient must wait (see Client Services Agreement section 8e). To obtain Ekkoes prior to scheduled date, please contact support@yourekko.com.
Too much risk and liability to the messages and that someone. A device could be destroyed, lost, incompatible with future devices, the password could be lost, the someone could pass away, forget, and it’s too much to manage if you want to send messages out more than just once or a few times over 3 years.
If Trusted Contact confirms suicide with YourEkko, messages will not be sent. It will be up to the Trusted Contact if they want to receive all messages.
