After 30 years of above average health and thinking I’d live forever, an emergency biopsy confirmed I had cancerous tumors.

I had always heard that people with cancer need to stay positive and hopeful; it’s true. As hard as it can be, being positive and hopeful is helpful for yourself or others. From my biopsy, six months of chemo to a stem cell transplant during COVID-19, my biggest concern was not death, but rather, no longer being present or being able to have an impact on the lives of the ones I loved.

My cancer experience causing epilepsy and unexpected loss of family and friends inspired me to create something simple, affordable and allows your money to transcend time without complex legal requirements. I want to solve the concerns I had and have. I want to change the way we prepare and think about the inevitable for our self and others.

I hope Ekkoes not only help ease the thought of the inevitable and ease the grieving process, but one day I hope Legacy Messages and Ekkoes can be shared to positively change the way others see the world from the messages left behind. That’s one reason why Legacy Messages are free - positive change in the world is priceless.

I stayed with my family who had the cutest companions.
Working when I could was a good distraction.
Shortly after I was diagnosed, a mom of my good friend was also diagnosed, so we stayed very close.
